2023 Kaohsiung International Summer Camp
Registration Guide
I. Activity origin:
In order to strengthen the substantive exchanges between Kaohsiung city and our
sister, friendly, and partner cities, and international cities with interactive potential,
through this summer camp, we plan to invite university students from target cities to
communicate with Kaohsiung university students to promote friendship. The three
main axes of the summer camp are "experiencing Kaohsiung city characteristics,"
"understanding industrial construction,” and "promoting youth interaction." The on-
site visits to experience Kaohsiung's cultural customs and the in-depth understanding
of the city's characteristics and construction achievements will establish a foundation
for more exchanges and cooperation between our cities in the future.
II. Organizer: Department of Administrative and International Affairs, Kaohsiung
City Government.
III.Recruitment target: College and university students with vitality, enthusiasm
for international affairs, and fluent English communication skills.
IV. Application Deadline: 7th July, 2023. (Or until the vacancy is filled.)
V. The organizer will bear the relevant expenses during the
international summer camp (including: accommodation, meals,
group trans. in Kaohsiung, sessions and visits fees, group and
travel insurance, etc.), while personal expenses are excluded.
VI. Planning of the Camp:
1. Place：Attractions or industries in Kaohsiung City.
2. Duration：6th (Sun.) -11th (Fri.) August, 2023, a total of 6 days and 5 nights.
3. Vacancy：20 international participants.
4. This program will be in "English."

VII.Ways for Registration:
1.Fill out the Application Form for the 2023 Kaohsiung International Summer
Camp.
2.Please e-mail the registration form, a copy of Student ID card, and a copy of
Passport or other certificates to bcolor3596536@gmail.com by 17:00 on 7th
July, 2023 (Fri.). (Subject: 2023 Kaohsiung International Summer Camp
Application–full name of the applicant.)
VIII. Admission Criteria:
1.Proficient English is required.
2.Previous experience in participating in international affairs or camp activities.
3.The successful candidates will be notified by email by 14th July (Fri.). Please
be sure to reply to confirm your participation.
IX. Obligations and Responsibilities of Participants:
During the camp, you will be required to complete group tasks with the team
members and make a presentation at the closing ceremony.
X. Additional Information:
1. Participants are under the obligations to fully attend the official term of the
Summer camp. Please take your health condition and your schedule into
consideration when apply for this program.
2. An extra charge might be occurred accordingly if participants leave the
Summer camp without the authorization of the organizer. Participants are
under the obligation to take the full responsibility for their safety and

behavior.
3. By registering this program, participants are deemed to have agreed to the
regulations above. The organizer may remain the rights to change terms and
conditions of this agreement.
