English Teaching Assistants for Summer Semester 2024 

 
    The Cyber University of Korea (CUK) is one of the leading cyber universities in Korea established

    The department of Child English at CUK is currently looking for a great English language teaching 
assistant.  We  are  seeking  undergraduates  or  graduates,  who,  regardless  of  majors,  have  solid 
communication skil s and enthusiasm for teaching English to EFL students. 
 
1. Position: English Language Teaching Assistants 
 
2. Eligibility 
  - English native speakers 
  - Undergraduate or graduate in the English speaking countries., regardless of majors 
            (Those who hold TESOL Certificates or have experience of teaching English to other language 
speakers preferred) 
  - F-4 (overseas Koreans) or F-5 (permanent residents) or E-2 (conversation teaching) visa holders 
 
3. Job Descriptions 
  - Contract period: 6 months (March 1, 2024 ~ August 31, 2024) 
  - Working hours: 16.5 hours per month 
  - Salary: 500,000 won per month (Earned income, Before tax) 
  - Insurance: Plan to get employment insurance and industrial accident insurance. 
  -  Jobs  during  the  semester:  Teaching  English  online  and  offline  to  CUK  students  including  the 
following: 
    • Conducting phone conversation sessions for the assigned courses.     

• Giving short written feedback on students’ speech samples and compositions for the assigned 

courses. 

• Teaching English on Saturday afternoon for 2 hours twice a month
