Introduction of Department
"City" should be equipped with functions and facilities to satisfy the basic needs of citizens and improve the quality of life as the center of various activities such as social, economic, and political activities of citizens.
Urban engineering is planning and designing urban spaces that citizens can live comfortabl>y and conveniently by solving housing, transportation, and environmental problems of modern cities.
Educational Goal
We foster future-oriented city planners by improving comprehensive thinking and creative city planning and design capabilities, and cultivate professional technical personnel through field-oriented education and practical connection.
Curriculum
Through the liberal arts and engineering basics (msc) courses, students will gain a better understanding of the Department of Urban Engineering, and prepare their foundation for learning majors to explore their careers in a variety of major fields.
As a basic course, students acquire basic knowledge in major fields such as urban planning, urban design, and transportation engineering, and establish basic competency through theoretical and practical training through various major subjects.
As an in-depth major course, students progress in-depth study by major in areas such as city planning and design, traffic design, and transportation engineering, and learn all subjects for acquiring city planners and traffic engineers to develop into experts.
As a practical training course, students select specific majors such as city planning and design, national and regional planning, GIS, transportation planning, and transportation engineering. We train as experts.
