Introduction of Department

The Department of Advertising and Public Relations and Communication is leading advertising public relations, media, and further Korean Wave based on overflowing creativity, and was selected by the Ministry of Education as a CK-I (Local University Specialization Project). As a result of this, we are currently actively operating two majors (advertisement, public relations and media) and convergence majors as Hallyu.

Educational Goal

The Department of Advertising and Public Relations and Communication aims to cultivate advertising, public relations, media, and Korean wave experts who can contribute to the creation, science, specialization, and globalization of desirable media culture required by society and the times based on the university's founding philosophy and educational purpose.

Curriculum

Ist Grade

The first grade is a freshman in advertising journalism. Courses on Advertising, Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Hallyu Studies, Media and Culture Contents are provided to students as a basic knowledge as an advertisement, press, and Korean Wave.

2nd Grade

The second grader acquires humanities knowledge and marketing knowledge to demonstrate that mindset in order to develop a creative mindset in Korean media entertainment.

3rd Grade

The third grader learns practical subjects that resemble the field in order to create advertising public relations media and Korean wave entertainment content.

4th Grade

Fourth grader is a graduate of the department of Advertising and Public Relations.
Through the global manners classes for preliminary advertising journalists, I prepare for the overall career (job and advancement) and acquire applied and advanced knowledge for convergence in the Korean media entertainment industry.
